YWCA of the Greater Capital Region, Inc. proudly invites you, along with your friends, family, and colleagues, to join us for our 3rd annual cycling & wellness fundraiser on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Corning Preserve in Albany from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. YWCA: It’s a MOVEMENT will unite our community in support of our bold mission to eliminate racism, empower women and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.

 This year we are excited to expand the scope of this event beyond biking with music and movement activities for all ages, schedule TBA. We had so much fun at last year’s RIDE with YWCA-GCR we can’t wait to get you moving in 2023!

We hope you’ll consider supporting YWCA: It’s a MOVEMENT and our mission through sponsorship or as an honorary committee member. Our fundraising goal is $50,000. All proceeds help to sustain, enhance, and expand the unique services and programs YWCA-GCR provides. YWCA-GCR is one of the area’s largest providers of supportive housing to both single women and women with children who would otherwise be homeless or living in substandard housing. In addition to our racial justice work, economic empowerment, homelessness prevention, food security services and supportive programs, every day, YWCA- GCR houses 104 women and over 50 children. YWCA is more than just a place, It’s a MOVEMENT.
