“By 2050, Women of Color will constitute 53 percent of U.S. women, yet they continue to be marginalized economically, politically, and socially, it is clearer than ever that our mission can be fulfilled only by working strategically and vigorously to eliminate racism and empower women. If we are to fully embody a mission that compels us to thrust our collective power toward the elimination of racism, then we must build a sustainable and strategic infrastructure purposed to dismantle the institutional and structural forms of racism that continue to affect our lives, loved ones, and communities.” YWCA USA.
